The Aare Gorge is located in Hasli Valley in the Bernese Oberland in the heart of Switzerland, nestled between the three famous Alpine passes Brünig, Grimsel and Susten.

Travelling by car
Via Basel and Zurich:
On the motorway, drive towards Lucerne and then turn off onto the A8 towards Interlaken. From Sarnen, the cantonal road takes you over the Brünig Pass. From Sarnen, it takes about 30 minutes to reach your destination.
Via Bern and Interlaken:
Take the A6 motorway towards Spiez, then change to the A8 towards Interlaken. From Interlaken, the cantonal road takes you straight to the Hasli Valley in 30 minutes.
Parking spaces for cars and coaches are available for visitors at the main entrance Aareschlucht West. There are two charging stations (eCarUp, 22kw).
Travelling by train
The Aare Gorge is very easy and convenient to reach by public transport, with direct connections running every hour from Interlaken and Lucerne.
From Meiringen station, you can get to the Aare Gorge easily via the Meiringen–Innertkirchen Railway via the following stops "Alpbach" and "Aareschlucht Ost".
