Bergbahnen Meiringen-Hasliberg

The Hasliberg sun terrace is a great place to visit in the summertime. On Mount Hasliberg, you can expect alpine fun, a mythical land of dwarves, an exciting ball run and active leisure activities in our fantastic mountain landscape. A foodie’s favourite place to start the day is the panorama restaurant Alpen Tower, which is known for its breakfast buffet. With the hiking day passes, guests can roam freely around the entire area and use the summer facilities to their hearts’ content.

Grimselwelt

Grimselwelt in the Bernese Oberland. Here in the world of hydropower, you can experience a leisure destination that offers everything an adventurer could want, from alpine routes, swaying suspension bridges, steep mountain railways and stylish hotel rooms in historic buildings.

Haslital - holiday region Bernese Oberland

High up in the Bernese Oberland, nestled between the Brünig-Susten and Grimsel Passes in a magnificent mountain landscape, lies the Hasli Valley. Known for its culinary delicacy – meringues from Meiringen – the master detective Sherlock Holmes and Muggestutz, the dwarf of Mount Hasliberg. With a wide range of activities to experience, the mountainous area in the Jungfrau Region is a popular destination for guests in both summer and winter.

Reichenbachfall funicular

The nostalgic Reichenbachfall Funicular will transport you to the imposing, 120 m Reichenbach Falls in no time. Once you arrive at the top, you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the thundering waterfall and the Hasli Valley from three different observation terraces. This destination is a must for Sherlock Holmes fans. It was here that the famous detective challenged his nemesis Professor Moriarty to a fight – and that violent scuffle ended with a plunge into the depths of this very waterfall!

Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge

Thundering waterfalls, romantic grottos and strange cliff formations. The unbridled energy of the glacial water is a constant presence: one moment it’s swirling around a glacial pothole, the next it’s dropping over a rocky step and roaring, foaming and bubbling as it forces its way through a bottleneck. The gorge is a true force of nature, both invigorating and breathtaking. It is surrounded by a spectacular mountain landscape of Alpine meadows, ancient and mighty maple trees, rough cliff faces and sparkling glaciers.

A little wilder and more formidable than the average destination, Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge and the surrounding valley are well worth the trip!
